I'm Maureen, the woman behind MBF Communications, a part of Mavourneen LLC.

I have more than 20 years of experience as a writer, copy editor and section editor at a daily newspaper and more than 11 years of experience as a freelancer providing writing, editing and design services.

Over that time, I've been able to interview and work with amazing people as I completed projects for clients in the fields of personal finance, human health, animal health, manufacturing, green energy, real estate, agriculture, marketing, human resources and small business.

I am grateful that my career allows me -- a questioning and curious person -- to use my skills as a writer, editor and designer. I seem to have a left brain AND right brain thing going: critical thinking using logic and sense with twists of creativity to help present the information.
